The service in one line
You upload a photograph of a drawing someone made by hand. Scribbo makes a short animated clip of that drawing. There is no other feature, and the limits below exist so it stays that way.
What you may upload
- Photographs or scans of drawings made by hand — crayon, pencil, marker, chalk, paint — on paper, card, a whiteboard, a chalkboard or similar.
- Drawings you own, or drawings you have permission to use from the person who made them or their parent or guardian.
What you may never upload
- Photographs of real people. This includes your own child. Scribbo animates drawings, not faces. Uploads are screened and anything containing a recognisable person is refused before generation starts.
- Anyone else's artwork that you do not have permission to use.
- Identity documents, passports, driving licences, certificates, diplomas, tickets, invoices, receipts, contracts or medical paperwork.
- Anything sexual, sexualised or violent — and absolutely nothing of that kind involving, depicting or suggesting a minor.
- Hateful, harassing or degrading content aimed at a person or a group.
- Malware, or files dressed up as images.
What Scribbo will never generate
These limits are enforced by the service itself, not merely written down here. A request that hits one of them is refused, with an explanation, and no allowance is consumed.
- Documents and credentials. No identity documents, passports, certificates, diplomas, tickets, invoices, receipts, contracts or medical records, real or invented.
- Real people's faces. No face swapping, no editing or animating a photograph of a person, no putting a real person into a scene. Scribbo has no such feature.
- Counterfeit branding. No reproducing a real company's trademark, logo or trade dress, and nothing designed to pass as an official product of a brand.
- The personal style of a living artist. No prompting for, or reproduction of, a named living artist's individual style.
- Sexual, exploitative or violent material, and in particular anything of that nature involving a minor. This is an absolute limit with no exceptions and no appeal.
- Deceptive material — anything built to impersonate a real person or organisation, to fabricate a record or event, or to mislead about who made it.
- Anything unlawful where you are, or where the service is operated.
How you may use what comes out
- Paid plans — personal and commercial use are both allowed.
- Free plan — personal, non-commercial use only, and the watermark must stay.
- In every case, the AI-provenance metadata in the file must be left intact. Stripping it, or presenting a clip as something a person filmed or drew by hand, breaks this policy — see the AI Transparency Statement.
Technical fair use
- Do not automate, scrape or load-test the service, or route traffic through it for anyone else.
- Do not share one account between many people to get around a monthly allowance.
- Do not try to bypass the upload checks, the watermark or the provenance metadata.
- Do not probe, reverse-engineer or attack the service. If you find a security problem, tell us at support@joelsonbarros.shop and we will thank you properly.
What happens if this policy is broken
- The request is refused. Most breaches never get past the upload or generation check; nothing is produced and no allowance is used.
- A warning. For a first, apparently accidental breach we explain what went wrong.
- Suspension. Repeated or deliberate breaches suspend the account while we look at it.
- Closure. Serious breaches close the account immediately and permanently, with no refund of the current period.
- Reporting. Material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor is reported to the relevant authorities. There is no warning step for this.
Reporting a problem
If you believe something on Scribbo breaches this policy — including a drawing of yours used without permission — email support@joelsonbarros.shop. Copyright complaints have their own process on the Copyright & DMCA page. We look at every report and reply within 48 hours.
Appeals
If an automated check refused something it should not have, email us and a person will look at it. We would rather be too careful and occasionally wrong than the other way round — but we will fix it when we are.
