The short version
- We collect the least we can: your email address, your subscription status, your uploaded drawings and the clips made from them.
- Drawings and clips are deleted automatically 30 days after upload. You can delete them sooner yourself, at any time.
- Nothing you upload is used to train, fine-tune or evaluate any model. Ever.
- We do not sell, rent or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- Scribbo is for adults. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child, and we refuse photographs of people.

Who is responsible for your data
The operator of joelsonbarros.shop is the data controller for the personal data described here. The only contact channel is support@joelsonbarros.shop, which reaches a person and is the address to use for any privacy request.

We do not ask for your name, your address, your phone number or your date of birth, and there is nowhere on Scribbo to enter them.
Payment details
Card details are entered on a hosted payment page operated by a regulated payment provider and are never transmitted to or stored on Scribbo's systems. We receive only what we need to run your subscription: whether a payment succeeded, the plan, the renewal date, the last four digits and the card brand for your own reference, and a billing reference. The payment provider processes your card data as an independent controller under its own privacy notice.
Your drawings are not training data
This is the commitment that matters most, so it gets its own section. Uploaded drawings and the clips generated from them are not used to train, fine-tune, benchmark or evaluate any machine-learning model, whether ours or a third party's. They are not added to any dataset. They are not reviewed by staff except where you ask us to look at a specific render as part of a support request, or where we are legally compelled to.
If a drawing contains a child's name, a date, a school or anything else written on the page, that text is not read, extracted, indexed or used for any purpose. It is simply part of the picture.
Automated processing
Two automated steps run on every upload, and both are necessary to deliver the service you asked for:
- A safety check that refuses uploads containing a recognisable real person, or content prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy. If an upload is refused you are told why and nothing is generated. You can ask a human to review the decision by emailing support@joelsonbarros.shop.
- Image preparation and video generation — straightening, trimming and brightening the photograph, then producing the animated clip.
No automated decision is made about you that produces a legal effect or similarly significantly affects you.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of processors to run the service. Each is bound by a data processing agreement and may only act on our instructions:
- Hosting and application delivery — serving the website and the studio.
- Database and file storage — storing your account record, your uploads and your clips.
- Model providers — performing the image preparation and video generation. Uploads sent for generation are processed for that purpose only and are not retained for training.
- Payment processing — taking and renewing subscription payments.
- Transactional email — sending render notices, receipts and cancellation confirmations.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not give it to data brokers.
International transfers
Some processors operate outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA or the UK it is transferred under an adequacy decision or under Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate supplementary measures. You can ask us which safeguard applies to a particular processor.
How long we keep things
- Drawings and clips: deleted automatically 30 days after upload. Deletion removes the file from storage and from backups on the next backup cycle.
- Account record: kept while your account exists. Deleting your account deletes it, along with any drawings and clips still stored.
- Billing records: kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically several years. These contain no drawing and no card number.
- Security logs: up to 90 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. If you are in California you may additionally have the right to know what is collected, to delete it, to correct it and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights — and note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there.
Most of it you can do yourself in a click: delete an individual drawing or clip in the studio, or delete your whole account from your subscription page. For anything else, email support@joelsonbarros.shop. We respond within 48 hours and complete requests within 30 days. We do not charge for this and we will not make you jump through hoops.
If you are in the EEA or the UK and you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your local supervisory authority. We would rather you told us first.
Children
Scribbo is not directed at children and is not for children to use. Accounts require you to be 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Because we refuse photographs of people, a child's face never reaches the service. If you believe a child has created an account, email support@joelsonbarros.shop and we will delete it and the data with it.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Uploads and clips are stored in access-controlled storage and served over expiring links. Access to production systems is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect; if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

Changes
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you we will email the address on your account before the change takes effect. The review date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
