1. Who we are and what this covers
Scribbo is an online service published at joelsonbarros.shop. Scribbo is an online subscription service that takes a photograph of a hand-made drawing uploaded by an adult and generates a short animated video clip (5–10 seconds, MP4) from it using automated image and video models. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website, the studio at /app, and every clip produced through it.
The only contact channel for Scribbo is support@joelsonbarros.shop. Notices to you are sent to the email address on your account.
These Terms incorporate the Acceptable Use Policy, the Refunds & Cancellation Policy, the Privacy Policy and the AI Transparency Statement. If you do not accept any of them, do not use Scribbo.
2. You must be an adult
Scribbo is a service for adults. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. Accounts are intended for parents, guardians, teachers, childminders and other adults who are entitled to use the drawing they upload.
Children must not create an account, sign in or upload anything. Scribbo has no child-facing sign-up, no child profiles, no messaging and no public feed. If we learn that an account belongs to a child, we close it and delete the data associated with it.
3. Your account
- One person, one account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself.
- The email address on the account must be one you actually read — it is how we send render notices, receipts and cancellation confirmations.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- Tell us at support@joelsonbarros.shop if you think someone else has access to it.
4. What you may upload
You may upload photographs or scans of hand-made drawings — on paper, card, a whiteboard, a chalkboard or anything else a child has drawn on. You must either own the drawing or have permission from the person who made it (or their parent or guardian) to use it this way.
You must not upload photographs of real people, including your own child. Uploads are screened and a photograph containing a recognisable person is refused before any generation happens. The full list of things Scribbo refuses to accept or produce is in the Acceptable Use Policy, and breaking it is a breach of these Terms.
5. Who owns what
Your drawing stays yours
Uploading a drawing does not transfer any ownership of it. You keep every right you had before. You grant Scribbo a narrow, revocable licence to store, process and transform that image solely in order to produce the clip you asked for, to show it back to you in the studio, and to let you download it. That licence ends when the file is deleted.
We do not use your uploads or your generated clips to train, fine-tune or evaluate any model, and we do not publish them, licence them to anyone or use them in marketing. The example imagery on this website is generated for the purpose of illustrating the service and is not customer content.
Your clips
Subject to you complying with these Terms and having paid any amount due, Scribbo assigns to you whatever rights it may have in the output clip:
- Paid plans — you may use the clip for personal and commercial purposes, including social media, advertising, printed products and client work.
- Free plan — personal, non-commercial use only. Free clips carry a visible Scribbo watermark, which you must not remove or obscure.
In both cases the clip must keep its AI-provenance metadata intact — see the AI Transparency Statement.
Our material
The Scribbo name, the site design, the sample imagery and the software remain ours. Nothing in these Terms gives you a licence to copy them.
6. Plans, prices and automatic renewal
All prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax, VAT or similar charge that may apply where you live. Anything due is shown before you confirm.
| Plan | Price | Billing | Included each month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 USD | Never billed | 1 animation · 480p · watermarked |
| Wiggle | $9.99 USD | Every month, automatically | 12 animations · 720p |
| Giggle | $21.99 USD | Every month, automatically | 40 animations · 1080p |
| Playground | $44.99 USD | Every month, automatically | 100 animations · 1080p |
A paid plan renews automatically. The amount shown is charged on the day you subscribe and then on the same date every month until you cancel. There is no minimum term, no setup fee and no cancellation fee. The exact amount, the currency and the billing frequency are restated in full on the page where you enter payment details, and again on the receipt for every charge, together with instructions for cancelling.
Unused animations do not carry over into the next month. If we change a price, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before then.
Cancelling, refunds and failed payments are covered in the Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
7. Rendering, queues and failures
Video generation is queued rather than instant. The studio shows your position in the queue and the progress of each render. Times vary with demand and are not guaranteed.
If a render fails, the animation is returned to your monthly allowance automatically and you are told what went wrong. You are never charged extra for a retry.
Generated output is produced by automated systems. Results vary, and a clip may not match what you pictured. That is a normal characteristic of the service, not a fault, and it is not on its own a ground for a refund — but please tell us if something looks wrong.
8. Things you must not do
- Break the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Upload anything you do not have the right to upload.
- Resell, sublicense or white-label access to Scribbo itself.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or hammer the service with automated requests.
- Remove or tamper with a watermark or with AI-provenance metadata.
- Use Scribbo to produce anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Scribbo at any time and delete your account from your subscription page. Deleting your account deletes your uploads and clips.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or where we are required to by law. Where a closure is not your fault, we refund the unused part of the period you had paid for.
10. Availability and disclaimers
We work to keep Scribbo available, but it is provided “as is”. We do not promise uninterrupted service, particular render times, or that a clip will meet a specific creative expectation. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim connected with Scribbo is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data where you had the opportunity to download your clip and did not.
Keep your own copy. Files are deleted automatically 30 days after upload. Download anything you want to keep.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects you we will email the address on your account at least 30 days beforehand. Continuing to use Scribbo after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. The review date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the place of establishment of the operator of joelsonbarros.shop, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live — including, for consumers in the EU, UK or EEA, the right to bring proceedings in your own country.
14. Contact
Everything — support, billing questions, legal notices, data requests — goes to support@joelsonbarros.shop.
